A 51-year-old man died Monday after his pickup struck a guardrail and then a culvert on a dead-end road in McPherson County. The man was identified as Sam Dial of Newton, Kansas Highway Patrol crash logs show.

A man sought in connection with a homicide in Anderson County was killed in a crash that occurred during a vehicle pursuit Friday night in Kiowa County in south-central Kansas, authorities said.

The crash happened at around noon on U.S. 24 about 5.5 miles west of Hill City in Graham County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a westbound Nissan Frontier entered the eastbound lane and collided with an oncoming semi.
